Finally for today, I am excited because I figured out how to put on pictures. My smart phone is not smart enough to send pics to this computer so I have to take them with my digital camera.
This is a square I made at the workshop in Cary with Lucille Amos who is a Judy Niemeyer teacher. It is for a quilt called "Dancing Batiks" which is right up my alley.
This was a good day because we got to do one of each of the sections and can finish on our own easily. Well maybe not easily!!!

This is a quilt I am making using some squares donated to our charity quilt stash. I added the sashing and borders. I actually like the scrappy look.
My college roommate Mandy loves silhouettes and tiny print fabrics so when I saw this panel I knew I had to get it for her. She loved it.

Shopping in Actionville

I have not done this in a long time so let's see....
Going to the shops in Jacksonville takes all day. Shopping builds up a powerful appetite which only OG can fill. Love those shrimp scampi.
So many fabrics so little money??? and time. Then we have to stop at Mickey Ds
for ice cream and coffee to stay awake for the drive home. I was looking for fabric to complete a charity quilt. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will put one on here.
Cecil was glad to see me when I finally got home.
