Thank goodness for the rain although the grass.... oh well.  The BOM for guild has been so well received and everyone is so good about getting the blocks back in to be turned into charity quilts.
What a great idea!
Here is the first BOM quilt ready to quilt today I hope.
We just used 12 of the 16 blocks so the others will be put into sampler quilts with leftovers from other BOMs. I just love the different color ways and warmth the yellows bring as well as the BLUES!

The third BOM quilt is from the pattern Amish Diamond and I love the color combo.  Of course it is blue!! and black.  It is ready to quilt also in a sandwich and I am practicing feathers to do on it.  We will see.
Color is amazing to me.  It looks as if there is a brown piece in the quilt but it is a black and cream print.  Tried a new way to do sashing.  Put on left sashing then top sashing with corner stone for each block then join blocks together.  Works great just remember to do top and bottom of blocks on bottom row.  Don't you just love turquoise and black?  The correct answer is yes.

Off to practice.
Happy Quilting
Sally
